I've owned this Voyageur for years and it has served me well. I made it very lightweight with shadetree burlap scales and a finely tapered tang. For many years I've had a photo of this knife carving a featherstick as the homepage image on our website (image below). I gave it a spa treatment, and it cleaned up to be damn near new, but it's still slightly discounted.
Inspired by the Voyageurs who traveled Canada's wild waterways, the Voyageur is a blend between a bird & trout knife and a bushcraft knife. This is a great choice for paddlers, fisherman, trappers, and wood whittlers. It has a slender continuously curving edge to aid in slicing chores, and the blade's narrow point excels at fine woodworking tasks.
